I met Susan and John when I began dating Lee, Susan's younger brother. From our very first meeting the couple made me feel like one of the family. We began spending more time together, going to each other’s houses for dinner or shopping trips. Both of my children loved 'Uncle John' and 'Auntie Susan', and they would sleep over for a night so that Lee and I could have some alone time. Some years later Lee and I were discussing our wedding, and that we would have loved to get married abroad. Susan and John asked us if we would like to stay at there home in Florida, get married and honeymoon there. The whole package! As time got closer, Susan decided she wanted to plan a surprise for John on our arrival. It was "our little secret". John's face lit up when Susan said to him "Which one do you want then? Pick one" There in front of him were a line of Mustangs in various colour's etc. Of course John made a great choice 'the red convertible'. I have fantastic memories of the three weeks we spent together in Florida. We had so many laughs, including the water raft ride when we sank at the end of the ride. All six of us sitting there laughing as the rafts behind us began piling up. We packed so much into that holiday: Disney, Universal, Discovery Cove, and Animal Kingdom etc. But we also had chill out times at the house by the pool with an occasional glass/bottle of wine! John, we all loved you and we miss you so much. Rest in peace knowing we are all looking after your precious Susan x
