Our wedding day was all booked for 24 May 1991 - everything was planned well ahead. THEN I had a health scare The caterers cancelled a week before The caretaker of the hall we had booked called to say it had been double booked The flowers didn't arrive Well the health scare was just that - a scare A friend knew a friend who sorted out the catering The caretaker had to tell the other people that we had booked and paid well before them And flowers , not the ones ordered and paid for 2 months earlier , turned up just as the wedding car did.. At the back of our minds we thought that maybe someone was trying to tell us something but maybe it was that no matter what anyone threw at us, it wasn't going to stop the wedding! We pledged our love to each other and our married life began. xxxx
